THREADLOCK PRECISION COMBINES OPERATING EXCELLENCE, INVESTING EXPERIENCE, AND PATIENT CAPITAL

WHO WE ARE
We are a multi-disciplinary team of experienced operators, industry experts, and seasoned investors. Supported by patient and experienced capital, we are building a leading American precision manufacturing network. Here is our approach:
We invest in and partner with exceptional small- to medium-sized precision machine shops with deep industry expertise, strong quality focus, and excellent customer track records.
We bring strategic investment, a collaborative approach to operational improvement, and shared back-office resources to allow our partners to focus on quality, innovation, and on-time delivery.
By combining each individual entity with its distinct capabilities into a broader network, we achieve the scale and resources of a larger manufacturer while retaining the nimbleness and domain expertise of each partner.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower the exceptional grassroots manufacturing talent across America by providing capital for strategic investment, purpose-built technology to support operational improvement, shared resources for administration, and an uncompromising support for the people who make these businesses great. We believe this is a winning recipe for delivering exceptional quality, innovation, and on-time delivery.
We also believe this mission cannot be completed in a day but requires a patient and collaborative approach to growth and operational improvement. Our backing by the D. E. Shaw group, a global investment and technology development firm with more than $70 billion in assets under management as of June 1, 2025, enables us to take a long-term view to our partnerships. This is best for us, the stewardship of our partner businesses, and the stability and strength of our customer relationships.
